Hi folks, I’m hoping someone here can give me some clarity. My partner has been struggling with really inflamed skin on his cheeks and chin for months, and nothing we’ve tried seems to help. He’s used gentle cleansers, fragrance-free moisturisers, even tried avoiding certain foods, but the redness persists and sometimes small spots appear. He doesn’t like going to the doctor and keeps insisting it’s just sensitive skin, but I’m beginning to think it could be rosacea. When I started researching, I found so many options for [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] that I felt more confused than before.
Do partners here ever push their other half to see a dermatologist? I don’t want to nag, but I also don’t want him to ignore something that could be improved with the right care. Are prescription creams genuinely effective, or is it more about lifestyle management?
I’ve also heard people mention laser therapy – does that work for everyone, or only certain types of rosacea? It seems expensive, and I wouldn’t want him to go through something invasive if it’s not likely to help.
So my question is, if you’ve had a loved one deal with this, what kind of rosacea treatment ended up being the most helpful, and how did you convince them to seek it?
